Chelsea v Derby County: Moses dares Lampard’s side

Frank Lampard  will return to Stamford Bridge for the first time as a manager on Wednesday night when his  Derby County  side take on  Chelsea  in the  EFL Cup  fourth round.

The Rams are looking to pull off another upset after  beating Manchester United in the last round, whereas Chelsea are bidding to continue an impressive unbeaten run under new boss  Maurizio Sarri.

Hazard has not featured since picking up a back injury against Manchester United earlier this month, and the Belgian is unlikely to be risked for an EFL Cup game with doubts still lingering over his fitness.

  Pedro  has been his replacement in the past two games, but he lasted just half an hour against Burnley at the weekend before being taken off due to stomach pains.

Fringe players such as Loftus-Cheek, ex-Nigerian international, Victor Moses,  Cesc Fabregas  and  Andreas Christensen  will hope to get a chance to impress from the start, with Sarri expected to make wholesale changes to his side for this match.

Simi gushes over husband Adekunle Gold at 32

Nigerian singer, Simisola Ogunleye, aka, Simi has celebrated her husband, Adekunle Gold on his 32nd birthday. The duo got married in a private ceremony earlier in the year with 300 guests in attendance. Award-winning Simi took to her Instagram account to convey sweet words to her singer husband. She wrote: “light of my life. I love you. I also really like you and the way you do your things. I’m such a lucky babe. You’re also lucky… I know God knows how much I want to prosper and shine and win and laugh and be happy, so I pray God grants my heart desires. Gridlock as tankers, vehicles crash in Lagos

A multiple accident on Wednesday’s evening caused a major traffic gridlock on Ikorodu road in Lagos. The accident occurred few metres away from the NEM Insurance corporate Head office on Ikorodu road Several cars and petrol tankers were involved in the incident with a Toyota Yaris completely written off. An eyewitness told The Nation LASEMA officials responded swiftly to emergency calls. Many of them were seen evacuating the vehicles to ease the gridlock worsened by rush-hour traffic. A fire tanker belonging to the Lagos State Fire Service was also stationed to avoid fire outbreak .
